Nigerien Regulator Name Change

The Nigerien Regulator, Autorité Nationale de Régulation et des Télécommunications et de la Poste (ARTP), has now been re-named to ARCEP (Autorité de Régulation des Communications Electroniques et de la Poste).

The new official web page of the Nigerien Regulator can be located here.

As it stands, there is no confirmation of any official changes in terms of devices subject to Type Approval in this country. It is also not confirmed at this point what the impact will be on applications currently under review for Type Approval.
