Vista Labs is looking for an Senior Electronics Engineer as part of the technical staff, to perform Electromagnetic Compatibility and Radio Frequency testing, technical evaluation and review, as well as provide support to non-technical personnel. Essential Duties And Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of advanced testing methodologies for EMC and RF compliance in alignment with global certification standards.
- Oversee the creation and optimization of automation frameworks and scripts (e.g., Python) to enhance testing efficiency, data analysis, and reporting processes.
- Act as the primary liaison for high-level customer interactions, including defining complex test plans, resolving technical challenges, and aligning test strategies with client needs.
- Supervise and mentor a team of Test Engineers and laboratory staff to ensure compliance projects are executed to the highest standards.
- Drive the execution of pre-compliance and full-compliance testing, ensuring adherence to regulatory and client-specific requirements.
- Review, validate, and provide final approval for comprehensive technical reports and certification documentation.
- Manage the lab’s quality assurance systems, including ISO 17025 and ISO 17065 certifications, and spearhead continuous improvement initiatives.
- Conduct detailed technical evaluations of engineering designs, schematics, and layouts for compliance with industry standards and certification guidelines.
- Lead customer audits of laboratory operations, ensuring best practices and compliance benchmarks are met.
- Stay ahead of emerging technologies and evolving industry standards, incorporating new methods into testing workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Project Management, R&D, and Product Development, to resolve technical and compliance-related challenges.
- Oversee the laboratory’s accreditation processes, including planning and executing assessments, equipment calibration, and internal audits.
- Provide strategic guidance during external and internal audits, representing the laboratory in discussions on quality management and technical excellence.
- Deliver advanced training sessions and workshops to internal teams on compliance standards, testing protocols, and quality systems.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Job entails working with and requires bachelor’s degree in computer science or relevant with Candidate must have 1-years professional experience
- Advanced EMC/RF testing techniques – Expertise in global compliance standards and methodologies.
- Automation scripting – Skilled in Python for automating testing processes and data analysis.
- Test equipment operation – Proficient in using advanced instruments for EMC and RF testing.
- Technical report analysis – Strong ability to validate and refine compliance test reports.
- Quality system expertise – Deep knowledge of ISO 17025 and ISO 17065 standards.
- Engineering design evaluation – Competent in reviewing schematics and layouts for compliance.
- Accreditation management – Experience in overseeing equipment calibration and assessment processes.
- Employers will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience. Employer will accept a bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in one of the requisite fields followed by 1 years of experience in the position Electronics Engineer or related.
Additional Information
- Work Time: M-F; 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. 40 hrs./week.
- Salary: $ 82534 per annum.
