The Bureau of Standards, Metrology, and Inspection (BSMI) and the National Communications Commission (NCC) of Taiwan publishes the list of foreign test labs recognized for EMC and radiofrequency/telecommunication equipment testing.

There are two Chinese Taipei organizations that regulate aspects of telecommunications equipment:

• National Communications Commission (NCC – formerly DGT)
  The NCC regulates the telecommunications/radio, information and broadcasting sectors.
• Bureau of Standards, Metrology and Inspection (BSMI)
  The BSMI is the authority responsible for standardization, metrology and product inspection. BSMI regulates EMC for telecommunications products.

BSMI

EMC compliance testing for products can be done by the BSMI, or testing laboratories recognized by the BSMI. Vista Laboratories is a BSMI designated foreign test laboratory.

Below is the scope of recognition by the BSMI under the Electrical and Electronic Equipment Mutual Recognition Agreement (EEMRA) with the United States.
