The Directorate General of Posts and Information Resources & Equipment (SDPPI) of Indonesia allowing the acceptance of foreign test reports for tablet computers, cellular phones, handheld computers only.

As of April 24, 2019, SDPPI certification applications for tablet computers, cellular phones, and handheld computers are not required to be tested locally in Indonesia.

For a period of six months from the date of this policy is in effect, test reports from a recognized foreign lab are accepted and can be used to meet the SDPPI certification requirements the requirements of SDPPI certification.

This regulation only states that foreign test reports from accredited testing labs are accepted for tablet computers, cellular phones, handheld computers. At this time, all other radio and telecommunications equipment is still subject to local, in-country testing.
