The Eurasian Economic Commission of the Eurasian Economic Union provided the latest updates regarding the Russian approval process and certification of conformity amid the COVID-19 crisis.

Below is the latest from regulatory bodies in Russia regarding changes in the certification process due to the impact of COVID-19:

EAC (EAEU) Certification of Conformity (CoC)

Yearly factory inspections/audits for previously issued certificate can be postponed for 6 months.

New factory audits cannot be carried out in the countries with travel restrictions.

The only way to issue new CoCs – for limited lot of products without factory inspection

There have not been any new updates provided regarding EAC (EAEU) Declaration of Conformity (DoC), FAC, and FSB approvals in Russia at this time.

All businesses other than essential businesses are officially suspended from March 28 to April 5.
