Extensions to the Date of Implementation of New Standards

The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) announced an extension of the date of implementation of amended and revised Indian Standard versions.

Originally proposed on March 27th, 2020 due to the conditions of the current global situation and lockdown, all updated standard versions with implementation dates beyond March 1st, 2020 has been extended 90 days from the last date of implementation.

A few key standards that have had their implementation dates delayed are as follows:
