The National Telecommunications Agency (ANATEL) of Brazil published the Technical Requirements Acts covering assessment of compliance for 5G networks.
The new technical requirements are mandatory for products that operate with the fifth generation cellular technology, including 5G, Terminal and Base Stations.
The technical requirements are as follows:
- Technical requirements for conformity assessment of Access Terminal Station, approved by Act # 3151
- Technical requirements for assessing Mobile Cellular Phone compliance, approved by Act # 3152
- Technical requirements for conformity assessment of Transceiver for Radio Base Station, approved by Act # 3153
The technical requirements were approved by each Act on June 12, 2020.
