The Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) updated the COVID-19 status for Safety and Radio/Telecom Regulatory Bodies for all member countries.
Below is an updated status for the Association of Southeast Asian Nations member states.
Brunei:
- Radio/Telecom (AITI): Counter is closed, online submissions possible, expect delays
Cambodia:
- Safety (ISC): Operation as per normal
- Radio/Telecom (TRC): Operation as per normal
Indonesia:
- Safety (SNI): Audit will not be carried out until travel ban is lifted, new applications will be deferred, local testing is postponed
- Radio/Telecom (SDPPI): Online submissions possible, delays for application, private testing labs are working while government lab is closed
Laos:
- Radio/Telecom (MPT): Operation as per normal
Malaysia:
- Safety (ST): Slight delay in projects/consignment testing, no Audit for overseas unless travel ban is lifted
- Radio/Telecom (SIRIM/MCMC): Testing services resume, online applications still apply
Myanmar:
- Radio/Telecom (MPT): Operation as per normal
Philippines:
- Safety (DTI-BPS): Most applications delayed due to new SOP
- Radio/Telecom (NTC): Most applications delayed due to new SOP, half work force in NTC, certificate delayed by 1-2 weeks
Singapore:
- Safety (ESR): Officers work from home
- Radio/Telecom (IMDA): Officers work from home
Thailand:
- Safety (TISI): No Factory audit until travel ban is lifted, all certifications based on BATCH Testing
- Radio/Telecom (NBTC): NBTC Officers work from home, expect delays
Vietnam:
- Safety (MOST/MOIT): Operation as per normal
- Radio/Telecom (MIC): Operation as per normal

India:
- BIS/WPC/TEC: Expect delays for testing and submission
Sri Lanka:
- TRC: 1/3 staff, only soft copy certification through email, hard copy will send out once situation is better
