The Ente Nacional de Comunicaciones (ENACOM) of Argentina has extended the validity of type approval certificates for sixty days due to the unknown COVID-19 situation.

The first extension was issued in April 2020 in the Resolution No. 326/2020. With the COVID-19 situation still unknown, Resolution 461/2020 was released, extending the expiration date of certificates expiring on or before July 1, 2020.

Since the epidemiological situation is still unclear, another extension, issued in Resolution 771/2020, extends the validity of certificates, registrations, and licenses for sixty (60) calendar days. This new Resolution applies to any certificates that have been expired since March 16, 2020.

The term of this extension started on September 18, 2020. The validity of certificates automatically extends to November 17, 2020.
