The National Telecommunications Agency (ANATEL) of Brazil has released a public consultation to allow manufacturers to approve WiFi 6E technology.

ANATEL released Public consultation n.º 82/2020 to update the Act 14448, “Technical Requirements For Assessing Conformity Assessment of Restricted Radiation Equipment.”

This update will include testing and limits for the range 5925-7125 MHz. This update will also allow manufacturers to approve devices with WiFi 6E technology.

The public consultation will close on January 24, 2021.
