The Syrian Telecommunications & Post Regulatory Authority will start to request Safety Test Reports according to EN 62368-1 from 20 December 2020 onwards, when Type Approval is requested.

Summary of changes:

• The standard EN 62368 will be mandatory for the new applications.
• For the approved models before December 20, 2020, the old standards still can be accepted for renewal applications.
