Thailand TISI issued a new standard safety requirement TIS 1195-2561 Audio, Video, and Similar Electronic Apparatus. This was announced on March 2, 2021.

Effective date will be 180 days from March 2, 2021 announcement date which means it will be effective starting August 29, 2021

The following is the summary of the new standards of TIS 1195-2561

• This standards TIS 1195-2561 applies for audio and video products only.
• Tentative products that under mandatory standard will be TV sets , speakers, game console and its power supply adapter.
• TISI hasn't yet concluded other product category into mandatory standards or not as it is a hybrid product such as video projectors, video cameras, CCTV cameras, tape recorders, LED/LCD display monitor and etc.
