Indonesia Directorate General of Resources and Equipment for Post and Information Technology (SDPPI) has issued a new Technical Requirement for IMT-2020 (5G NR), PERDIRGEN No. 5/2021.

This technical requirement is valid starting on May 3, 2021.

The frequency bands allowed for 5G NR Base Station and Subscriber Station:

• N1 - 1920 MHz- 1980 MHZ (Uplink ) , 2110 MHz- 2170 MHz (Downlink )
• N3 - 1710 MHz- 1785 MHZ (Uplink ) , 1805 MHz- 1880 MHz (Downlink )
• N5 - 824 MHz- 849 MHZ (Uplink ) , 869 MHz- 894 MHz (Downlink )
• N8 - 880 MHz- 915 MHZ (Uplink ) , 925 MHz- 960 MHz (Downlink )
• N40 - 2300 MHZ – 2400 MHZ (TDD)
