Zambia Information and Communication Technology Authority (ZICTA) published new type approval guidelines including reference standards for conformity.

On April 9th, 2021 ZICTA has published new guidelines for the following devices:

• short range devices
• Mobile devices
• Satellite connections
• Broadcasting equipment

Some of the published updates:

The Authority shall before revoking an approval, give written notice to the holder of a type approval certificate of its intention to revoke the approval and require the holder to show cause within a period of 7 days why the approval should not be revoked.

The Authority may recall from the market the model of the electronic
