The National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) of Thailand is reducing its operating capacity due to stricter COVID-19 lockdowns issued by the Thai government.

All approvals will be done in a remote manner, which will result in slower operating times for the type approval department. The process for registering for SDoCs will resume on August
3rd 2021. Until then, the NBTC will not be able to process any new SDoC applications.

The same limitations are in place for Class A and B applications.

For all trade licenses, (trade license, NBTC ID, import license, label purchase), work is expected to resume after August 3rd, as per the licensing department.

After August 3rd, the NBTC will resume partial operation, so lead times will be extended.
