The Communication & Information Technology Commission (CITC) has released updated Technical Specifications. This comes after the last revision in 2018.

These specifications will take into effect anything that is being manufactured or sold in Saudi Arabia. With some regions within Saudi Arabia potentially needing different requirements to fulfill them as well.

The main categories that these new technical specifications cover is navigation, satellite communication, mobile communication, wired communication, wireless communication, short range wireless communication, radio links, broadcasting, and general as well.

The updated regulations will take place starting on the 20th of July 2021.
