The Communication and Information Technology Regulatory Authority (CITRA) of Kuwait has published new Type Approval Regulations.

This was released on September 23rd, 2021, and the main changes includes an increase in type approval validity from 1 year to 3 years. Along with that, the renewals process should be started 3 months before expiration and up to 20 days after expiration. Otherwise a new certificate application will be required. Certificates are currently being issued with 1 year validity, however the transition will follow shortly.
