The Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Postal Services (RATEL) of Serbia is allowing voluntary certification for non-radio devices.

As of this year, the EMC and LVD certificates of conformity for non-radio products are no longer mandatory for products to be approved for sale in Serbia.

The Serbian conformity assessment mark will continue to be used and accepted for both radio and non-radio devices, but for non-radio products, the marking may be placed on the device without a certification number or year included.

The conformity assessment mark will continue to be accepted until Serbia is accepted into the European Union.

Upon joining the EU, the CE mark will be recognized.
