The Bureau of Standards, Metrology and Inspection (BSMI) of Taiwan informs of the deviations in their new EMC standard CNS 15936 (2017) from CISPR 32 (2015).

CNS 15936 applies to all electrical and electronic equipment within the field of audio, video, information and communication technology with a rated AC or DC supply voltage not exceeding 600 volts.

BSMI has informed us that the last date to use the previous inspection standards under the Declaration of Conformity option is December 31, 2023.

The DoC will be valid for up to one year (until December 31, 2024), and will become invalid on January 1, 2025 unless it has been updated for CNS 15936.
