RAMATEL Label Requirements Updated

May 10, 2023, Ente Nacional de Comunicaciones (ENACOM) in Argentina amended the specifications for RAMATEL Labels, adding the following new placement options:

  • The marking must be included in the user handbook, quick start guide, and/or the relevant packaging if it cannot be applied directly to the product due to construction, size, or packaging reasons.
  • The marking must be printed in manuals and documentation that come with the vehicle or be made available on the official website of the vehicle's maker or importer if the permitted device is placed inside the vehicle but its regulatory identification is not easily identifiable.
  • Instructions on how to access the e-label must be easily accessible in the user manual, quick start guide on the package, and/or on the official website of the device's manufacturer or importer, if e-labeling is chosen.
