Based on notification no. 5-2/2021 -TC/TEC/131 dated June 13th, 2022, the testing and ceritficaiton of telecommunication equipment under Phase-III& Phase- IV of Mandatory Testing and Certification of Telecommunication Equipment(MTCTE) Rules 2017, the changes listed below are officially announced with immediate effect:

Adding three months to the deadline (July 1st, 2023 to October 1st, 2023)for 32 products covered by MTCTE phases III and IV's mandatory certification.

Adding six months to the deadline (July 1st, 2023 to January 1st, 2023) for 12 products covered by MTCTE phases III and IV's mandatory certification.

Extension of the deadline for accepting test results from laboratories accredited by the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) signatories that are located in non-border-sharing nations by six months, from June 30, 2023, to December 31, 2023, for technical parameters only.
