Vietnamese Prime Minister issued Decision No. 14/2023/QD-TTg, "Lists of Low-Efficiency Equipment Subject to Elimination and Low-Efficiency Generating Sets Banned from Development and Application Roadmaps" on May 24, 2023.

The list of products which Minimum Energy Performance Standards (MEPS) must be reached before being imported into Vietnam is regulated by this Decision. Beginning on April 1, 2025, devices including desktop and notebook computers will have to submit applications for the new standards. The Decision expires on July 15, 2023, when the Decision No. 24/2018/QD-TTg enters into force.
