Previously, China MIIT published Notice (2021) No. 129 on October 13th, 2021, to tighten and regulate radio management of the 2.4GHz, 5100MHz, and 5800MHz frequency bands. Beginning on January 1, 2022, products must comply with the new regulations' standards. This rule will take effect on October 15, 2023.

In addition, we would like to remind you that the deadline for submitting an SRRC application using the previous standards MIIT [2002], 353, MIIT [2002] 277, and MIIT [2012] 620 for 2.4GHz, 5.1GHz, and 5.8GHz is October 15, 2023.

Applications for devices using the 2.4GHz, 5.1GHz, and 5.8GHz frequency bands must comply with the new MIIT [2021] 129 standard starting on October 15, 2023.
