Expanding Flexibility for 6GHz Mid-Band

On February 5, 2024, the FCC added a file rule correction for the unlicensed use of the 6 GHz Band and expanded the flexible use in mid-band spectrum between 3.7 and 24 GHz. This correction fixes the rule that appeared in the Federal Register on January 8, 2024. The document has issued a final ruling that permits very low power (VLP devices in the U-NII-7 (5.925-6.425 MHz) and U-NII-7 (6.525-6.875 MHz) portions of the 6GHz band. This went into effect March 8, 2024.
