Egypt NTRA Suspends Type Approval for 3G-Only Devices

The National Telecom Regulatory Authority (NTRA) of Egypt has announced that, effective October 1, 2025, devices that support only 3G technology will no longer be eligible for type approval. Shipments containing 3G-only devices will also be rejected for import or release.
