Burundi ARCT Launches Digital Platform for Import and Operation Authorizations

The Agence de Régulation et de Contrôle des Télécommunications (ARCT) has officially announced the launch of a new digital platform for managing authorizations related to electronic communications equipment.

This new system is designed to centralize and digitize the submission and processing of applications for:

• • Authorization for equipment release (enlèvement)
• • Import authorization
• • Export authorization
• • Authorization for operation of electronic communications equipment

By moving to a fully online workflow, ARCT aims to simplify, accelerate, and secure the authorization process while improving traceability, transparency, and regulatory oversight throughout the lifecycle of each application.
