The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) of Nigeria published an updates regarding Sample requirement and Family Approval requirements.

In terms of family approval, only a few devices are subject to it, but the requirements remain the same:

- Devices must be connected in a series / family.

- They must have access to the same test reports and Declaration of Conformity.

Normally, the commission would consider the following equipment for family/series billing:

Microwave Radios

Servers

Smart TV, Washing Machines and Refrigerators etc.

Enterprise Switches

Enterprise Routers

Enterprise Gateway Equipment

Sample requirement is mandatory in Nigeria. Regarding to NCC, commerical grade sample of equipment is required including the following:

Notebooks

Tablets

Mobile phones

Mouse and keyboards

Smart watches

WI-FI modems

Bluetooth Speakers

Digital Cameras(with WLAN/Wired Interface)

Prineter and etc.
